After Casablanca theme installation. You may find that the theme does not look like the example (demo), as you should make some settings in the store:
1. Add the Arabic language
1.1 One-language store (Arabic)
a. Go to the Shopify Control Panel (admin).
b. Select Settings.
c. Select Languages from the menu.
d. From the Published languages menu, click Change default.
e. Select Arabic from the menu and click Save.
(If Arabic is not in the list, choose the last Other languages option... Then choose Arabic).
2.1 Store in two languages (Arabic and English)
a. Go to the Shopify Control Panel (admin).
b. Select Settings.
c. Select Languages from the menu.
d. Select Add language.
e. Select Arabic from the menu and click Add.
When you add the second language to your store, the Translate & Adapt add-on will be automatically installed in your store. Through this add-on, you can translate your content.
f. The Arabic language will appear in the list below (Unpublished languages). Click on Publish.
g. You can edit the main language of the site from the same page by clicking Change default, but sometimes you may lose the translation that already exists on your site. It is best to change the default language through the Markets feature.
h. Go to Settings, then select Markets. Select the market you want to edit and then choose Manage. Click Domains and Languages next to Manage. From Languages, make sure that the languages you need are enabled. To change the default language, click Change Default Language and then select the desired language.
2. Translate the default content of Shopify
Despite the language change to Arabic, you may find that some words are still in English. These words are specific to your store (lists, content, page titles...).
1.2. If a store operates in only one language (Arabic)
You can change the content directly on the site and translate the default content.
2.2. If a store operates in two languages (Arabic, English, French, etc...)
If Arabic is the default language for your website, you can change the content directly on the site and translate it to other languages using the Transalte & Adapt app. Or if Arabic is a secondary language, you can translate the content using the aforementioned Translate & Adapt app.
Despite the language change to Arabic, you may find that some words are still in English. These words are specific to your store (lists, content, page titles...).
3. Add your own content
After translating the default content, you should add your content from a logo, images and text to become like an example. Don't forget to translate it if your store is multilingual.
